DONUT BATH BOMB INSTRUCTIONS
To make the bath bombs, mix together the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch and epsom salts in a large bowl. You can use lavender epsom salts to get even more of that delicious lavender scent.
If you would like to do different colors of donuts to look like different flavors, you can divide up the mixture.
Slowly add the food coloring. You don’t want it to fizz!
Melt the coconut oil and pour it into the mixture and add the lavender essential oil. Mix well.
Pour witch hazel into a spray bottle.Lightly mist the mixture a few times until it is able to hold its shape. You don't need much of the witch hazel,so use it sparingly.
Lightly spray your donut pan with non-stick spray.Press the donut mixture into the mold and allow it to sit overnight. If you are in more of a rush, letting them sit for several hours should do the trick as well!
In a bowl, melt some goat’s milk soap base according to package instructions.
Carefully remove the donuts from the pan and dip the top of the donuts into the soap and set them to dry.It won’t take long!
Re-dip your donuts again and immediately add sprinkles to the top.I love the look of rainbow sprinkles on these.Let the donuts sit until dry and fully set. They shouldn’t take longer than 10-15 minutes to dry.
Now you know how to make donut bath bombs! These make great gifts or party favors.
These can be pretty fragile,so keep that in mind if you are giving them as gifts.I would place them in a hard container or box in some tissue paper so they don't move around too much.
Since these look so realistic,I would make sure whoever you are gifting them to knows they are bath bombs,so they don't try and take a bite!
